(1) If it is found that a person holding a public office or a national servant or other person according to the prevailing law has committed an offense that is considered corruption according to this Act or the prevailing law, the Commission shall file a case against such person in accordance with this Act or other prevailing laws and take other related actions. On behalf of the commission, the commission itself or an officer authorized by the commission will do it.
(2) The debate, advocacy and defense of the case filed in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be done by the public prosecutor or the legal practitioner appointed by the commission in coordination with the office of the attorney general.
